Mermaid Lamp

Commissioned by a local client, this Mermaid with Nautilus lamp makes a unique accent lamp. The highly detailed bronze casting features a dolphin-tailed mermaid riding a tumultuous wave while holding a lit nautilus shell aloft in her outstretched arms.

We have received and shipped all of our 2104 Limited Edition Dragonfly Vases. The vases were shipped out on Thursday. If you ordered a vase, it is on its way to you now!

Window of the Week: Two Sisters

Commissioned by a New York client in 2009, the Two Sisters window is based on the iconic 1881 painting by Pierre-Auguste Renoir. Successfully translating Impressionist style paintings into stained glass is always a challenge because the paintings lack definition and stained glass must have hard lines between the individual pieces of glass. The effects of light and shadow were achieved by creating the window with three plated layers of glass.

Lamp of the Week: Black Eyed Susan

We made this 16" Black Eyed Susan shade in 2006. It is shown on the Vial base, which features green glass blown into the reticulated bronze. The glass bulges outwards, which gives the base a unique combination of texture and materials.

16" Turtleback

A classic Tiffany Studios design, the 16" Turtleback shade features a decorative band of hand cut "turtleback" tiles against a geometric ground. The simplicity of the design is enhanced by the jewel like quality of the turtleback band. Recently purchased by a West Coast client, the shade is shown on the Square Turtleback base.

Lamp of the Week: 14" Daffodil

With few original examples known, the 14" Daffodil shade is a rarity amongst original Tiffany shades. Created at our studio in 2005, this example packs a lot of different kinds of glass into one small shade. Fracture, ripple, streaky and ring mottle glass blend together harmoniously to create a lively color scheme. The shade is shown on the distinctive Pigeon Foot base.
