Lamp of the Week: 16" Banded Daffodil
The 16" Banded Daffodil shade is awash in fully opened blooms that are held in check by the two rows of horizontal banding. The grey/blue background glass sets off the brilliant yellow and orange toned flowers. This shade, shown on the Lion's Foot base (22" tall) was created at our studio in 2007 and is in a private collection.

24" Snowball
The 24" Snowball is the deepest Tiffany Studios shade design we offer. While the shade can be used as a large table lamp, its generous proportions are best suited for use as a floor lamp or chandelier. We recently completed this 24" Snowball on a Sr. Floor base for a local client. The irregular lower edge accentuates the impression of a large specimen with its branches bent by the weight of flower clusters in full bloom.
Tiffany Studios created several Snowball lamp patterns in various shapes and sizes. Often mistakenly referred to as a Hydrangea design - Hydrangea flowers are conical while Snowball flowers are round - Snowball bushes can reach heights and widths of 8 to 20 feet. Since flowers on Tiffany Lamps were rendered life sized, this large flowering bush makes a perfect subject for the generous proportions of the 24" Snowball shade.
Our client requested a color pallet with an emphasis on whites and blues. A wide variety of mottled, streaky, and textured glasses were used for the flowers. The clear blue sky at the top of the shade is reflected throughout the piece, appearing amid the flowers and leaves. To keep the overall tone of the lamp light and airy, the abundant foliage has a mix of lighter greens. The personality of the completed lamp has the feeling of a sunny day in springtime.

Lamp of the Week: 16" Bamboo
The 16" Bamboo is an unusual Tiffany lamp design where that the glass for each leaf is heated in a kiln and bent to follow the curvature of the shade. Slumping the glass allows for a natural flow within the design without the need for additional lead lines in the long leaves. This shade, created in 2006 as a showroom piece and now in a private collection, is shown on the Bamboo base. The combination of integrated shade and base gives the lamp a cohesive, exotic feel.

Lamp of the Week: 18" Grape Lamp
The 18" Grape is one of four Tiffany tree style lamp designs we offer. The pattern has a pleasing directness that makes a bold statement. We created this example in 2014 blending together a variety of glasses that include fracture/streamer, ring mottle, streaky, striated, and textured. From a short distance, the overall tone of the shade is spring green, but upon closer observation, the shade has a rainbow of subtle color tones harmoniously mixed together. The cast metal sculpted crown at the top of the shade mates with the sturdy Tree Trunk base. This lamp is in a private local collection.

20" Waterlily
We recently completed this 20" Waterlily shade for a client in Illinois. Shown on the Bump table base, the shade has flowers that are tinged with pink against a rippled background. The heavily mottled and rippled glasses used in the pads give the shade a sun dappled look.

Lamp of the Week: 22" Dogwood
Like many flowering trees, the Dogwood was a favorite subject for Tiffany lamps and windows. The 22" Dogwood shade is generously proportioned, and the large flowers are set against horizontal rows which suggest an architectural element. We created this shade for our showroom in 2016 and and is now in a private local collection. The springtime colors blend together pink and white flowers against a multicolored blue background. The shade is shown on the Perforated base.
