16" Tulip

The generously proportioned 16" Tulip shade is covered in flowers in lively mix of pink and red flower in full bloom rising about lush green foliage. With their large waxy blooms, tulips are a perfect subject for stained glass lamps. 

The grey blue glass in the sky is a perfect backdrop for the flower colors.

Our client chose the Lummis base (19" tall) to compliment the shade. While the shape of the Lummis base looks futuristic, it is actually inspired by the stem and seed pod of the lotus flower. This lamp has been sold and is now in a private collection.

14" Geranium

Whether potted or planted, geraniums are a continually blooming plant that add a touch of color to gardens, porches and window sills all summer long. The 14" Geranium is a compact shade that celebrates this ubiquitous flower, elevating it to star status. For this recently completed example, we chose pink flowers and an impressionistic mix mottled and rippled green glasses for the distinctive foliage. The shade is shown on the distinctive Mushroom base (16" tall). This lamp has been sold and is now in a private local collection.
