16" Pansy

The 16" Pansy is a finely detailed lamp design with the delicate flowers clustered in four groupings around the shade. The geometric background provides structure for the playful flowers. For this shade, the background undergoes a dramatic shift from white to green.

Pansy flowers come in a wide variety of colors. The pansy shade is one of the few Tiffany lamp patterns that can naturalistically showcase blue and purple flowers.

Shown on the Small Stick base (20" tall), this lamp has been sold and is not available for purchase.

20" Dragonfly

Dragonflies remain one of Tiffany Studios' most popular design motifs. Dragonfly shades can be created in virtually any color scheme and are available in a variety of sizes from 14" to 28". We recently completed this stately 20" Dragonfly lamp.

For the background of this shade, we chose a glass with a saturated mix of blue, purple and amber tones. The deep amber dragonfly bodies play off the magenta and amber in the filigreed wings. Textured border rows incorporate the colors of the background with the addition of green, which plays off the color of the jewels. Mated with the sculptural Twisted Vine base (25.5" tall), this exceptional lamp has been sold and is in a private collection.

28" Magnolia

One of Tiffany Studios most famous lamp designs is the 28" Magnolia. This generously proportioned shade was originally designed to be a large floor lamp, but it also works as a chandelier fixture. We have recently completed the lamp pictured, which was created for a client and has been sold.

Covered in an explosion of blooms, the shade presents a Saucer Magnolia tree in full bloom. An intricate network of branches crisscross the shade, supporting the signature flowers against a blue sky.

The magnolia shade is the perfect canvas for the lamp artist to choose a variety of glasses that blend color, texture and transparency. Bill Campbell mixed many different styles of styles of glass and also used drapery glass throughout the shade.

Tiffany Studios initially created drapery glass for use as clothing and fabrics in their elaborate windows. They quickly recognized the potential of this exceptional glass to represent the large fleshy flowers of the magnolia tree. Drapery glass is hand folded as it is rolled to create pleats in the sheets. Difficult to work with and challenging to create, this signature glass is used to great effect in this shade. Unfortunately, drapery glass has always been a rarity and is not currently in production with our glass makers. The drapery glass used in this shade was created in the 1980's and 90's by Schlitz Studios and Uroborus Glass Studios.

Even though we are showing the shade with a hanging cap, it is being used with a Senior Floor base by our clients
