The 10" Pony Wisteria lamp is the smallest member of the Wisteria family of lamps. The
shade is topped with a cast bronze crown from which the flowers cascade
downwards, intermingling with leaves and branch work and finally ending in
an irregular lower border. For this lamp, we blended mottled glasses in bold blues and
greens with subtle white and lavender tones to create a rich color
pallet. This gnarled Pony Tree Trunk base (16" tall) was designed by Tiffany Studios
specifically for this shade. This lamp was created as a showroom piece
in 2002 and is now in a private collection.

20" Daffodil Turban
Rich amber/yellow glass was chosen for the flowers, while a variety of greens enliven the leaves and border rows. For the background glass, a teal tinged with amber at the top of the shade transitions to deep velvety blues at the bottom.
The shade is shown on the Twisted Vine base. This lamp was commissioned by a local client.

Lamp of the Week: 14" Tulip
The 14" Tulip is a petite shade that reminds us that Spring is around the corner. Purple tulips with fresh green leaves dance over the surface of the shade. The background glass used for this shade was a delicate peach and green mix with a lightly textured surface made by the Lins Glass Foundry in the 1990's. Shown on the Pony Tree Trunk base, this lamp was commissioned by a local client in 2002.

16" Acorn
The 16" Acorn is a classic Tiffany Studios shade design that can be created in a wide range of colors. For this piece a heavily mottled deep green glass was chosen for the body of the shade with a slightly different green used for the "acorns". The original Tiffany price list identifies this pattern as a "Vine border", but acorn has become the common name for the shade. Commissioned by a local client, the shade is shown on the Greek Urn base (overall lamp height 21.5" tall).

Lamp of the Week: 22" Elaborate Peony
The 22" Elaborate Peony shade is one of Tiffany Studios' masterpiece designs. This shade is often referred to as the Windswept Peony because of its intricate blending of leaf and flower. This shade was commissioned in 2017 by a client in New York and is shown on the large Library base (26.5" tall).
Our client requested strong colors for the shade, and there is an exciting boldness to the color pallet. Ring mottled, streaky, ripple, and fracture/streamer glasses were expertly blended together to create the shade.

16" Cyclamen
The 16" Cyclamen shade is a rarely seen Tiffany Studios shade pattern. Native to Europe and the Mediterranean, cyclamen are known for their distinctively shaped flowers which appear to be blooming upside down. Cyclamen flowers come in shades of pink, white and purple, and can be delicately toned or vibrantly colored.
The flowers for this shade were made from "gold pink" glass that was created by Schlitz Studios in the 1980's. Gold can produce beautiful pinks (and purples) that have a distinctive fuchsia tone. The flowers, supported by slender stems indicated by the vertical lead lines, hover peacefully against a blue sky above a blanket of dappled foliage. Commissioned by a client in Massachusetts, the shade is shown on the slender Grooved base (26" tall).

Lamp of the Week: 24" Border Peony
The 24" Border Peony is a design that combines a geometric background with a wide floral border on the lower half of the shade. The exuberant flowers "grow" in profusion, showing off their brilliant petals and dense foliage. The rich amber tones of the shade provide a warm backdrop for the pink & red flowers. The leaves are tinged with both the flower and background colors, giving the shade a balanced feel. This shade was commissioned in 2014 and is in a private collection.
